Evocative Landscapes

Finding stillness in a chaotic world

I’m  landscape photographer - best known for my images of The Peak District - but my photography has taken me to many parts of the world, creating atmospheric imagery. As a photography tutor I enjoy helping others to improve their work with my new range of landscape photography workshops in The Peak District, Wales and Scotland.

Info

  • A forest trail surrounded by tall trees with bright green leaves, moss-covered trunks, and a stone wall on the right side with barbed wire. The trail is partly covered with fallen leaves and the scene is illuminated with soft sunlight.

My landscape photography is about using the light and conditions to create beautiful imagery that captures the spirit of a place. If you need a photographer or would like to use some of my work for your project I would love to hear from you.

  • A rushing mountain river flows over rocks surrounded by sparse trees and shrubs, with mist-covered mountains in the background on a cloudy day.

Whether it be a day one to one or a day with friends, all of my workshops are planned to ensure we learn, enjoy the landscape and to capture  the best light and conditions. With the premise that we are in the UK and may need the nearest café in case tea and cake is called for!

  • A stone pathway leading up a grassy mountain slope with rocks and purple wildflowers, surrounded by green mountains under a partly cloudy sky.

A selection of my work is available as prints which are professionally printed and packaged using the finest of materials

  • Mountain range with rugged peaks surrounded by clouds and fog, under a cloudy sky.

A few of my favourite landscapes from my local area and further afield.
