It was very much a great couple of hours, but as usual wet feet prevailed. Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment Dina.

How beautiful ! Superb reflection !
What we must endure sometimes to take a great photo… This summer I took a photograph of a flower, lying on grasses, and I got 12 mosquitoes bites !
I hope you’re feeling better by now 🙂

Thank you so very much Jocelyne and thank you for asking. I am back on form again and looking forward to the coming week. So often the shot that we want to have is the one where we sometimes have to endure a hardship, but as long as the image is a we wanted, then we can feel that it was worth the discomfort.

The reflection in the sea is amazing. It looks like it’s been chromed and polished for best reflection. The image is really beautiful, you have captured this peaceful landscape with flair. It transcend serenity and openness to me. Excellent, James.

Crikey! I am absolutely blown away by your comment Otto and many many thanks. It was quite an experience to be watching the clouds unfurl and the tide ebbing away to reveal the reflections on such shallow waters. I have often studied this and the other day was just the right day to be at this spot on the coast. I knew the tidal patterns and with very little wind and the sun was shining it was a perfect combination! Once again a huge thanks

Exquisite, the water is like glass. I knew there had to be blue skies somewhere!

Wow James, so worth getting wet for! The clouds and the cliffs make for such a beautifully dramatic reflection! (Hope you are feeling better soon . .. )

A huge thanks Patti and I have to agree with you the scenery around this part of the UK is very beautiful. Beginning to feel better after a good night’s rest.

Oh my goodness what a spectacular shot!
Also, I like the wordpress theme you have chosen, as it displays your photos so large, allowing one to really enter the scene – wonderful.

How did you do that? Reverse the negative? Can’t figure where you were standing…wading…
    So beautiful.

A massive thanks R. and it is lovely to hear from you. I was standing in about 8 inches of sea water as the tide was turning. It was such a glorious day yesterday, sunshine, clouds and blustery winds. But I am now suffering with a chill in the back and a crook in the neck from too much crouching over the tripod. Still, you have to do what you have to do to get a different angle. Hope to catch up soon. regards, J.

Luminescent and beautiful, James. Just the sight to counter the miserable wash-out that is today!

    • October 13, 2013, 5:47 pm

Thanks very much Mike! It certainly has been absolutely “you know what sort of day” today and I so glad I managed to get out and about with the camera yesterday. Hope you have an enjoyable evening!

      • October 13, 2013, 5:53 pm

I missed out yesterday – and today. My camera is starting to feel unloved. My vow is to take no autumn leaves shots. Wonder how long that will last! Enjoy your evening too!

      • October 13, 2013, 6:04 pm

Oh no an unloved camera!!!I will give you a week before you start kicking the leaves in a park and thinking you had wished you had your camera with you. Thank again Mike!Off to enjoy a light supper and a glass or two of vino.
